What is an Airworthiness Directive (AD)?
Airworthiness Directives (ADs) are issued by the FAA to correct an unsafe condition in a product (an aircraft, engine, propeller, or appliance). They are considered regulatory. You can search ADs applicable to your aircraft at https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies/airworthiness_directives/
