The larger obstruction symbols denote and obstruction that is 1,000′ AGL or greater while the smaller obstruction symbol indicates an obstruction less than 1,000′ AGL. The height of the obstruction is noted in MSL as well as AGL (in parentheses). The addition of the lightning bolt symbol with the obstruction indicates high intensity obstruction lighting.
