Handheld aviation radios can be useful tools for pilots, whether as a backup to panel-mounted equipment or for staying in touch with air traffic control from the ground. But with more features and options available than ever, which radio is right for you?

Join Sporty’s radio expert Doug Ranly for his presentation, Aviation Radios—Choosing the Right Handheld. Doug explains which features matter most when choosing a portable aviation radio, review the latest options from Icom, Yaesu, and Sporty’s, and share tips for getting the most out of a handheld in real-world flying.

The webinar also covers Sporty’s new PJ2 GPS, its most advanced handheld radio yet. Features include built-in GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, a color screen, an integrated intercom, and standard aviation headset jacks.
